Propagating Chimeras

Propagating chimeras is part art, part science, and a heaping dose of practice! We all know African violet chimeras are pricier due to the difficulty of producing them in quantity. Bloom stalks, and forcing suckers by removing the crown, are the two most common methods of propagation, but the first is difficult to master, and the second is a step too far for many hobby growers.

Olive Ma Robinson has mastered the art and science of bloom stalk propagation, and will share her methods with AVSA members who join the Virtual Violet Connection Zoom on September 13. The practice part is up to you!
