Discounted Room Group Rate (1 King or 2 Queens)
$129 plus 9.1% state tax and 9.0% hotel occupancy tax.

To speak with onsite reservations, call 913-451-6100 direct between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Central time) Monday through Friday. Calls received outside those hours go to an off-site reservations department. To receive the special group rate, provide the group name of African Violet Society and/or group code of 909.

Transportation to/from Hotel
There is no hotel shuttle service. Per the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the best cost is Uber or Lyft with an estimated cost of $40-$45 one way. Taxis are available but tend to cost more due to taxes.
Is Room Sharing For You?
AVSA offers the free service of providing attendees the ability to reduce hotel expenses by sharing a room.
If interested, requests must be made by April 25, 2025 so all “violet friends” can be contacted in time to meet the Registration deadline of May 5, 2025 in order to get the $20.00 AVSA discount*.
