The 2024 AVSA Convention will be here before you know it! Literally. It’s earlier this year, taking place April 21-27, 2024. So, why would you want to spend an hour or so listening to AVSA members talk about Convention?  I can think of a lot of reasons, but the best one might be that if you have some vacation time you can take in April, the AVSA Convention would be a wonderful way to spend it!

Two of MY favorite things are African violets and traveling to interesting places, and Arizona in April will be THE place for both!  Jeffery Hudson-Covolo, one of the Virtual Circle speakers, will describe the tours he is putting together of what is without question one of the most scenic, and unusual, areas in the US.  Add the fact you’d be sharing the experience with others who love African violets, and you have a winning combination!

Candace Baldwin, Convention Chair, and Susan Anderson, Show Chair, will provide all the info you need on registration, accommodations, and convention activities, so you won’t arrive at your first convention, like I did, wondering what to do when and where! Convention is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow AVSA members from around the US, as well as others from around the world.  Questions are welcome, so plan on spending that hour with us. It may be the hour that leads to a great Arizona experience!
