Want to meet people, help AVSA, and get involved?  Volunteer to host!  The show will be open to the public on
Friday, June 2nd from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday, June 3rd from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Volunteers are needed for two activities:

• Host the entrance and sell tickets during public hours

This is a sit-down job, with each volunteer taking an hour or two.  A companion (not interested in violets) might find this a pleasant task while you attend a workshop, look at the show, or shop.  Ideally, two people will cover each shift.  Tasks include selling tickets to enter the show and sale, selling AVSA memberships (allowing the guest to enter for free if joining AVSA) and collecting the money.

• Host inside the show room during public hours

Hosts walk around inside the showroom (may occasionally sit), with each volunteer taking an hour or two.  This is a good job for a first-timer who enjoys visiting with people and being in the show room.  Ideally two or more will always be present to monitor the showroom activity.  A host should be friendly and welcoming, answering questions, and inviting our guests to join AVSA.
